Let’s Play Pretend! Who Will You Be?

Hey mama,

It’s spooky season! Which means it’s the time of year where it’s socially acceptable and encouraged to play pretend. This is a time where we all literally dress up as any and everything just for fun. Halloween gives us the permission to be whoever we want to be, but why do we need the holiday to give us this freedom? We can reinvent ourselves and our world at any given movement. We can put on a new costume and step into a new life. Who said this is the only way to live? There are no rules!

“Invent your world. Surround yourself with people, color, sounds, and work that nourish you.”

- Sark

Ok, I’ll give some backstory to this. Kairo is dressing up as a wizard for Halloween this year and it has me wanting to tap into my own inner magic. My ability to create things with my intention. Because we know it’s not the wand that makes a wizard or witch magical, it’s their word conviction, and intention.

As I’ve been thinking about ways to unlock my own powers, I realized that I have already been doing this since the moment I had Kairo in 2019. The day I gave birth to him, I also gave birth to a new version of me. I was fresh. I was malleable. I was raw material waiting to be sculpted into something great. All I needed was an intention.

My intention was simple. I wanted to be the best version of me so that I could be my best for him. I wanted to be a Viktorious Mama. I was willing to do the work on myself not knowing exactly where it would lead me. My intention was simple, and it was enough for God to act on my behalf.

But let me tell you the power of an intention, baby! It’s 4 years later, and I don’t even recognize myself or my life. I gave myself permission to become someone new. The nerdy party girl working the traditional 9-5 turned herself into the mom-preneur healer who travels the world with her son. WHAT?! I reinvented myself. I gave myself a new script. And even to this day, I’m still free to change.

And in fact, I’m going through another rebirth now. This month, I closed a 2-year chapter of teaching at Replenish Yoga & Meditation as I move fully into creating the Mobile Maternal Wellness Center that God has given me the vision for. One thing I’ve learned through the many rebirths of my life, is to embrace possibility. Allow yourself to dream. Wonder what life could be like. Stay curious.

The way motherhood feels right now, does not have to be your forever. Fantasize about what it could be like! Set your intention and walk in the direction of your dreams. You don’t have to know the how, you just have to have courage and be open to the possibilities. There is so much life waiting to be lived by you, and it didn’t decrease when you became a mother. Embrace all the possibilities for your life now. Be who you want to be! Allow yourself to shift. Write a new story.

I truly believe you can be whoever you want to be, mama. Chase a dream and know I’m rooting for you!

Peace <3

MEDITATION

When was the last time you just sat outside and observed nature? Many spiritual philosophies turn to nature as our teacher. There is much to learn by sitting and watching.

This week’s guided meditation will help you see yourself as being One with nature. Allow yourself to be like a tree and shed what no longer serves you then look to the sky for unlimited possibilities on what’s to come.

Take time to breathe. Take time to dream. Take time to be.

MANTRA

How intentional are you with your word? Do you use your word to call in more possibilities, opportunities, and solutions? If not, you should.

Your word is VERY Powerful! Even songs can be affirmations. I love singing my mantras. Here is a song by Beautiful Chorus that I listen to daily. The lyrics are:

“I stay lucky. Everything is always working out for me.”

Can you imagine the shift that would occur if you really believed and spoke this over your life and motherhood experience? Try it!

Or what about this song by Maverick City Music which loops the mantras:

“You are more than able” and “Anything is possible!”

It doesn’t matter what you’re faced with. Everything is still working out for your good and you are being made a better mother and person. Sing these songs from the mountain tops and allow God to open your eyes to the different possibilities that have ALWAYS existed.

COMMUNITY

We’re a little over 2 months out from our retreat in Panama. Which means you can still make it happen! Embrace the possibility of joining us on the beach for a yoga and wellness retreat.

Payment plans and double occupancy rooms are available! Get creative with how you do it. The possibilities are endless.
