Sacral Chakra: “I’m Coming Out!”
Happy lovers’ month!
I hope this email finds you emersed in self-love. May you experience the love of God as you, through you, and to you. I supported a birth last weekend and it’s timely given we are beginning our journey through the sacral chakra, our energy center that deals with creation, self-expression, and pleasure. It’s our womb space and the true seat of our emotions. The place where all of our energy is stored. Are you ready to unlock a new depth of yourself?
It’s interesting that God gave me a birth to support this month as I’ve been observing my own sacral chakra. He allowed me to witness the power of another’s as a way of fully understanding and daring to express my own. Through the birth I witnessed the beautiful cycle of creation. There are ebbs and flows to birthing something into the world, whether that be a baby or an idea. So many emotions come up. There may be some pain and discomfort. Self-discoveries are made. Something is shed along the way. A lot of effort and energy is poured out. And in the end, you have a beautiful creation. You recognize yourself as a creator, and you rest in the magnificence of your masterpiece. That is the cycle.
I’m blessed to be a birth worker, because I am never given the opportunity to forget how powerful women, and particularly mothers, are. We are the bearers of life. We bridge Heaven and Earth in our bodies. We are creators made in the image of our Creator. We have so much power in our bodies and womb space that we aren’t utilizing fully on a day-to-day basis. This is partially due to not being taught how. There is so much untapped potential within our beings. My goal this month is to help you unlock some of it.
As a reminder, a chakra is an energy center that gives and receives information from the energy around us (people, situations, nature, etc.). We all have a multitude of them, but there are seven that are commonly talked about. Through life experiences, these chakras can be balanced and open, or blocked and imbalanced. Last month we worked with balancing root chakra, this month we are moving to the sacral. Below is some info about it:
Associations of Sacral Chakra:

Body Parts: Womb, genitals, kidney, bladder, muscles

.
As we approach the energetic new year, you may be receiving the call to slowly come out of hibernation. It’s time to study the self in prepaeration for being out more in the world come Spring. So this month, we’re getting sexier, more creative, more expressive, and more confident. We’re engaging in the things that bring us pleasure, looking at the depths of our emotions, and giving ourselves permission to be ourselves.
This newletter has a lot of resources for exploring your sacral chakra, but what it really comes down to is allowing your inner child to lead. This means more painting, dancing, writing, cooking, playing, and dressing up. Make it light and fun.
We’re learning how to own our power and in turn reclaim our peace. This is just a step along the way. Praying this month is expansive and healing for you.
In the words of the great Diana Ross “I'm coming out. I want the world to know. Got to let it show!” It’s time, mama!
Ase’!
