What is it?
BellyDance Fitness is a sensual, spiritual, and feminine fusion of fitness and dance. It is different than bellydance for performance in the sense that it takes some of the basic core moves of bellydance and applies it to a fitness format. BellyDance itself. is an ancient artform of dance with it’s earliest documentation being found in the temples of Ancient Egypt. This dance is not done to seduce men (though it can work that way if you choose). BellyDance is a sacred practice for us, by us.

The Benefits
Movements in this dance will isolate various muscle groups, increase muscular strength, and define your core. Additionally, BellyDance is a great cardio workout, it improves feminine health, it stimulates blood circulation, enhances digestion, increases joint fluidity, and boosts self-esteem. BellyDanicng can help relieve stress to the back, counteracting the effects of sedentary and inactive lifestyles. Science has also acknowledged its healing abilities for medically diagnosed conditions such as fibromyalgia. Finally, it reduces stress levels by taking your mind off of your “problems” and redirects your energy and attention to yourself.

Who is it for?
BellyDance Fitness is for women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and stages (of motherhood). It can be especially beneficial for strengthening the pelvic floor of pregnant, postpartum, or elderly mamas. BellyDance Fitness is for you if you’re looking to gain some confidence, have fun, and awaken your Goddess within!

What To Expect In a Session?
A bellydance fitness session begins with breathwork. After that, we engage in mirror work where we recite affirmations to promote a deeper sense of self-love and acceptance. After we’ve used our breath to create space, our word to uplift and empower, we begin dancing where we embody these shifts. We review the basic bellydance moves then put them into routines. Together we dance to invite in more joy, peace, and overall wellness. We end our time by reconnecting back with our breath, body, and divinity.

1 In-Home Session
Drop-in1:1 in-home yoga session tailored to you (and your family). This allows you to get a taste before committing to a 1-month or 3-month package.
I create and hold sacred space for you to connect with your mind. body, and soul. You choose the type of yoga, and we flow together. These sessions are an hour long and include movement, meditation, and mantra. You’ll walk away feeling realigned, empowered, and relaxed.
NOTE: Payment of drop-in is deducted from monthly package should you choose to continue working together.

In this package you will receive weekly 60-minute in-home yoga sessions for a month.
